Advanced Business College Admission Requirements

1. WASSCE/SSCE Applicants
   Pass in at least six (6) subjects meeting the following criteria
   1. Three (3) core subjects, including English and Math
   2. Three (3) elective subjects
2. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level
   1. Passes in three (3) subjects, with at least one (1) of Grade D or better.
   2. Credit Passes (Grade 6 or better) in five (5) GCE O’ Level subjects, including English and Math
   3. Credit for a Science subject, if applicant was a Science student
   4. Credit for an Arts subject, if applicant was not a Science student
3. Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE)
   1. Passes in three (3) subjects, with at least one (1) of Grade D or better.
   2. Credit Passes (Grade 6 or better) in five (5) subjects in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE), including English, Math and Integrated Science/Social Studies
4. Higher National Diploma (HND) and Diploma Holders (Top Up)
   1. HND holders who apply for admission in the same subject area will be admitted to Level 300
   2. Similarly, a Diploma Certificate from a University or equivalent institution grants entry to Level 300
5. Mature Students
   Applicants must satisfy the following requirements to qualify as mature:
   1. At least 25 years old at time of application
   2. Must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examination, which is an Aptitude Test in English and Math conducted by ABC
6. Minimum Requirement
   All applicants should have credit passes in core subjects English, Math and Science, as well as Social Studies.
7. Professional Certificate Holders
   Applicants with professional certificates will be admitted to Level 100-300, depending on certification. Application must be submitted with a valuation report of certificates from the National Accreditation Board (NAB).

Foreign Students

In addition to meeting the requirements above, foreign applicants must provide evidence of proficiency in English, granted by the University of Ghana, Legon or Alliance Francais(French applicants). Applicants must also attach valuation report of certificates from the National Accreditation Board (NAB).
