Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Packhouse Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining in optimum condition, all electrical equipment and other machinery and pumps used in the Packhouse.
• Upholding best machinery/ equipment maintenance standards in order to ensure uninterrupted processing of best quality Avocado, ensuring high standards of hygiene and employee safety as well as supervision of technical staff.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in maintaining Electrical equipment and other machinery
• Familiarity with food quality and safety standards
• Working knowledge of all relevant Statutory Requirements for operating a food processing facility.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive and self-motivated individual.
• Be a person of integrity
• knowledge of avocado processing quality standards will be an added advantage
