About Bureti Technical Training Institute

Before and after the two world wars (1914 – 1918) and (1939 – 1945), the present day Bureti Technical Training Institute site was popularly known as Tiriitab Moita – a place for herding calves. The area was known for communal activities such as herding of calves, sporting, boxing, wrestling, athletics, dancing and more besides. Soon after independence, community leaders coined the idea of constructing an institute and The Institute begun offering TVET programmes in May 2015 and was officially unveiled by the Deputy President on 20th November same year. Currently there are over 68 programmes offered in five academic departments namely: Electrical Engineering, Building and Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, Business and ICT. Today, the Institute has more than 3,000 trainees pursuing studies in Artisan, Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma levels. More learning facilities have been put in place to ensure the Institute provides technical skills to the trainees, under an experienced team of over 70 trainers.

The Management of Bureti Technical Training Institute Student Portal has enabled the student portal for fresh and returning students of the institution for easy access to academic findings such as Course Registrations, Checking Results, Academic Calendar, Payment of Fees, Admission Status, Admission List, Transcripts, Extra Credit Hour, Exam Timetable, Deferment of Admissions, etc.
