The management of Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) wishes to inform its new first-year (1:1) students that the August-December 2020 semester shall commence on 31 August 2020 and the orientation programme will be held online.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there shall be no face to face learning until advised by the Government.
First-Year Orientation Programme
As alluded to above, the orientation will be held online from 26th -28th August 2020. Some sessions will be held live on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. A detailed programme will be availed soon, so keep checking on the University website and copies will be sent to via WhatsApp on numbers you provided at registration.
Students should open a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account and like BUSE page to enable them to have access to live streaming of some orientation programmes.

E-learning Data
The university has made arrangements with mobile network providers for students to access subsidised data for e-learning. For easy access of data, students are urged to pay for the data package together with the fees. The University will make a bulk payment to the service providers who will then credit the data into students’ mobile numbers.
This offer is only to those who are in need of the data facility and is therefore voluntary. Online Registration
Online registration has been set for 24th and 25th August, 2020. Students are encouraged to register before the commencement of the semester to be able to access e-learning resources and other University services.

Please note that no students shall be allowed to access the University’s Moodle e-learning platform without successfully completing the registration process.
Medical Aid Registration
Students are required to simultaneously register online for medical aid cover before completing the registration process. Students who are already covered by their parents/guardians may opt-out of this offer provided they produce proof of valid medical cover. The University has two approved providers namely, Generations Health and Steward Health whose premiums are listed below;
