Summit HR & Marketing Consulting team brings more years of combined experience in human resources consulting, strategy and management. Our consultants become an integral part of your management team, providing hands-on assistance with a variety of human resource concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the dentist/hygienist/therapist in all clinical procedures, providing chairside     assistance (handling supplies and instruments as requested).
  • Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
  • Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene and cross infection control, according to the latest guidelines and following practice procedures and policy.
  • Ensure that all the relevant paperwork is completed promptly and accurately and that all patient records are updated and maintained, according to practice procedures.
  • Assist in managing the appointment book for all clinicians, where applicable, ensuring that the daily production targets can be met and the booking system is followed and to ensure a smooth delay free work flow for patients or clinicians.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiography
  • Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials
  • Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist
  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A diploma or a general education degree (GED) required in Dental/ Oral Care nursing
  • Dental Assisting Certification
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Radiology certification preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a reputable dental clinic
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
  • Team player with strong relationship building skills
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Highly professional, presentable with a positive attitude
