RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for identifying trade & working capital opportunities using deep rooted product skills and business acumen to develop and deliver be-spoke trade solutions to clients. In delivering these solutions the holder should be alive to the wider opportunities for our FX, Payments, ABF, retail products sets, etc.
  • Formulate and execute the trade sales strategy in consultation with the branches, sectors directors, products partners, etc.
  • Prioritize trade sales resource allocation in response to market opportunities, to fast track the launch and penetration of the market with key trade & working capital products in support of both STP and MTP deliverables while ensuring consistency and standardisation.
  • Develop and direct the trade sales market entry and penetration strategies, including marketing and activation of clients.
  • Although responsible for the country trade sales , one of  the primary focus of the role is ‘to gain new to bank businesses in both business banking & SME/MSME and to penetrate identified top tier clients in MNC, large enterprises, public sector and the public sectors etc resulting in incremental trade income/profit.
  • The role holder will need to proactively drive relationships with existing customers and non-customers in order to capture their trade business

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or equivalent
  • Post graduate degree preferable
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in banking or Product management role.
  • Proven track record in large client acquisitions demonstrating clear solution and structuring skills and in leading and executing a large deal acquisition across multiple stakeholders products and or/ geographies.
