1. Provincial Care and Treatment Advisor

ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Provincial Care and Treatment Advisor to be based in Southern and Western Provinces, Zambia.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Provincial Care and Treatment Advisor position by 28 August 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine or related field.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated technical expertise in HIV prevention, care and treatment, excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in HIV treatment, experience with HIV healthcare delivery in a resource-limited setting. Experience in establishing working relationships with USG agencies, MOH, other partners

2. Finance Assistant

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Finance Assistant position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of an Accounting Technician qualification/Diploma in Accountancy/Audit.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience in the use of, Quick Books, mobile banking platform Microsoft office, especially Excel. Must be familiar with PEPFAR/USAID/CDC or other donors’ rules & regulations. Relevant work experience in a similar position working for an international NGO or audit firm.

3. Provincial Deputy Director

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Provincial Deputy Director position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine or related field.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated technical leadership and expertise in HIV prevention, care and treatment, with excellent knowledge of clinical issues and current literature in HIV treatment programming. Experience in the management of large-scale health or development projects, with proven capabilities in managing and supervising a diverse team of technical staff, experience with HIV healthcare delivery in a resource-limited setting. Prior experience in training, mentoring and supervising of multi-cultural clinical teams. Experience in establishing working relationships with USG agencies, MOH, other partners, proven experience in managing both technical and operations teams.

4. Provincial Quality Improvement Manager

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Provincial QI Manager position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in health related area or social sciences. A Master’s Degree in Public Health/Epidemiology will be an added advantage.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience in implementation of QI projects in the HIV/health services. Experience in mentoring, training health care workers in QI methodologies. Knowledge in database maintenance, and patient-level databases is preferred.

5. Senior District Manager – Clinical and Programs

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Senior District Manager – Clinical and Programs position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine or related field.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience in HIV clinical management, trained in both adult and paediatrics ART. Supervisory and mentorship experience in HIV services at hospital level. Ability to provide mentorship to medical and clinical officers and other HIV service staff and proven experience in coordinating HIV community services such as demand creation, HIV  case identification and  community interventions in support of retention of recipients of care.

6. District Monitoring and Evaluation/Data Manager

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the District Monitoring and Evaluation/Data Manager position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a degree in demography, statistics, mathematics or epidemiology or related field.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience working in monitoring and evaluation in HIV programs in the health sector in Zambia. Experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint for graphical presentation, experience in the use of SmartCare electronic information system. Strong data management and analysis skills are required and experience in database maintenance including DHIS2.

7. Senior Administration Officer

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Senior Administration Officer position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or equivalent.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience in relevant work experience in similar position working for an international NGO. Extensive knowledge of USG policies, procedures and practices. Must possess time management and multitasking skills.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Site Level I-Surge Officer position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a diploma/degree in clinical medicine, nursing or related field.

The incumbent will have demonstrated technical skills in HIV prevention, care and treatment, and an excellent grasp of clinical issues. Experience with HIV healthcare delivery or public health management in a resource-limited setting. Must be trained in the management of ART/OIs for Adults and Paediatrics. Trained in and with demonstrated knowledge in current HIV case identification approaches including HIV index testing. Ability to provide daily mentorship to ART providers, nurses and community-based volunteers, supervise and monitor day-to-day activities for community-based volunteers and ability to coordinate community activities with health facility In-charges.
