The Management of Kabarak University has released 2020 academic calender for various courses/programmes offered at the institution for 2020

JANUARY SEMESTER (15 WEEKS): REGULAR PROGRAMS

2nd January Members of staff resume duties after Christmas and New Year
Break
2nd – 17th January ERP System open for continuing students to register online
7th January Registration of new students
8th January Reporting date for continuing students
9th January Lectures begin for continuing and new students
20th – 22nd January Orientation of new students
24th January Last day for internal examiners to enter September Semester 2019
grades into the ERP system and submit signed mark sheets and
marked scripts to Heads of Departments
27th – 31st January School Academic Boards conduct post-examination moderation of
September Semester 2018 examinations
6th February Senate meeting to approve September Semester 2019
Examination results
10th – 14th February 1st CAT
7th February Deans submit the 1st class attendance analysis to the Registrar

10th – 14th February Deans send out notices to students placed on Academic
Progression track
24th – 28th February Pre-Examination Moderation of January Semester 2020
examinations
24th– 28th February Deans submit teaching allocations for May Semester 2020 to
Registrar (Academic and Research)
2nd – 6th March Deans submit examination drafts for January Semester 2020 to
the Examination and Timetabling office.
5th – 13th March Proof-reading and printing of examination papers
9th – 13th March 2nd CAT
13th March Deans submit the 2nd class attendance analysis to the Registrar (A
& R)
3rd April Deans publish the list of students who have not met the minimum
80% class attendance and submit a copy to the Registrar (A&R)
10th April End of lectures
14th – 24th April Semester examinations
24th April –1st May Community Service Break

8th April 2020 Opening date for continuing students
9th – 11th April 2020 Academic Consultation

applications, projects and attachment reports
5th – 9th October 10th Annual International research conference: Computing,
Education, Health, Business, and Music
12th– 16th October Deans of Schools submit 1st class attendance analysis to the
Registrar (A & R)
12th– 16th October 1st CAT
12th – 16th October Pre-Examination Moderation of September Semester 2020
