KAG East University Intake Form 2023/2024

The Institution has more than one intake yearly, they regularly release application forms for admissions into the institution. These include January, May, and September. We update this piece of article from time to time to enable us to serve you better, that’s whenever the Intake forms mentioned above are released.

KAG East University Admission Requirements:

These are criteria to meet before you are considered for admission into the institution.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree Courses: Minimum of KCSE Grade C+ (plus) or its equivalent or C/C – (Minus) with a Diploma from a recognized institution.
2. Diplomas: Admission to Diploma Courses shall be based on any of the following minimum qualifications: KCSE mean, grade C/C – (Minus) or Form 4 leaver with  KCSE mean grade D + (plus) and below and a certificate from a recognized institution.
3. Certificate Courses: Admission to Certificate Courses will be based on the following minimum qualifications: A form leaver with KCSE mean grade D +.(Minus) and below

Postgraduate Admission Requirements:

KAG EAST University will admit applicants who meet any of the following minimum university requirements:

1. A GPA of 3.0 in a relevant area of study.
2. Certified copies of all degree certificates and transcripts. Original certificates shall be presented to the Academic Registrar for verification.
3. Certified Copies of the National Identity Card and/or Passport, and Birth Certificate. Originals shall be presented to the Academic Registrar for verification.
4. Two-page double-spaced essay outlining your achievement, reasons for applying for the post-graduate program, and your expectations of the program.
5. Curriculum vitae/resume.
6. Three referees, one of which should be from your current local church Pastor is mandatory.
7. Two recent passport-size photographs (Write your name on the reverse side).

International Student Requirements:

1. An official translation of academic records (where applicable)
2. An official test score of English (TOEFL) or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (required for applicants whose language of instruction is not English).
3. A current financial guarantee letter (from your financial sponsors).
4. Provide an acknowledgment slip of the Application for Student Pass from the Immigration department.
5. Two recent certified passport size photographs (Write your name on the reverse side)
6. Certified copy of the Applicants Passport. Originals shall be presented for verification by the academic registrar.
7. Certified copy of the Sponsor’s National Passport.
8. Certified copy of the relevant Bank Statement.
9. All certified recommendation letters from three referees shall be sent directly to [email protected]
10. All official transcripts shall be sent directly to the Academic Registrar.
