The Kipsinende Technical and Vocational College (KSTVC) is a public institution registered by the Technical and Vocational Education Training Authority (TVETA).It is situated in a serene, scenic, and picturesque part of Kipkelion West in Kericho County on top of Chilchila hill. The institute commands the view of the surrounding Fort Ternan Town, views of Muhoroni, and the hilly sides of Nandi County. It is located 10km North of Fort – Ternan town off the Londiani-Muhoroni road.The inception and growth of KSTVC dates back to 2009 when the local community of Kipsinende had a vision of having a Vocational Training Centre under the direction of the local leaders at then. It transformed fully into a Technical Training Institute after it received funding from the Government through the treasury and the National Government Constituency Development Funds (NGCDF).Since its foundation, KSTVC has tremendously grown and in 2016 under the mentorship of Ol’Lessos Technical Training Institute, the college registered a huge milestone which formed its basis. The college has attracted students from all corners of the Republic of Kenya taking various courses at different levels; Grade III, Grade II, Grade I, Artisan, Craft Certificate, and Diploma which are examinable by both the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) and the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). The College is also offering Competency-Based Training (CBET) programmes under TVET Curriculum Development. Assessment and Certification Council (TVETCDACC).The college is offering a range of programmes in the following departments; Automotive and Mechanical, Building and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computing and Informatics, Business and Liberal Studies, and Hospitality and Institutional Management.
