P.C.E.A Kikuyu Hospital is an institution under the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, (P.C.E.A.). The Presbyterian Church Hospital at Kikuyu is one of the oldest hospitals in Kenya, having been founded in 1908 by Scottish Missionaries, led by Dr. Arthur, who moved up-country from Kibwezi.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and maintains preventive and routine maintenance schedules and monitors their implementation
- Supervises and assigns duties to the maintenance staff
- Prepares shift program for the staff
- Prepares maintenance reports and submits to the Services Manager
- Monitors repair costs and advise on retirement of some equipment, where applicable
- Ensures all plumbing system is working efficiently
- Ensures all repair work on furniture and fittings is carried out effectively and on time.
- Coordinates equipment purchase, installation and commissioning.
