MUST TVET Courses 2024/2025 – Meru University of Science & Technology (MUST) TVET Courses 2024/2025.

The management of Meru University of Science & Technology (MUST) has released the list for of the TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET) COURSES/PROGRAMMES for 2024/2025 academic session.

TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET) PROGRAMMES
DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
PROGRAMME ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Animal Health and Production K.C.S.E minimum mean grade of C (plain) with a minimum grade of C (plain) in Biology/Biological Sciences, C- (minus) in Chemistry/Physical Sciences and C- (minus) in Mathematics/Physics/Agriculture.

OR;

Certificate in Animal Health and Production or Certificate in Animal Health and Range Management with a mean grade of C- (minus) in K.C.S.E.

OR;

A Credit pass in at least a two-year certificate course in Agriculture/Range Management/Dairy Technology or related courses with a mean grade of C- (minus) in K.C.S.E.

OR;

A Diploma in Biomedical Disciplines recognized by Kenya Veterinary Board and MUST Senate.
Diploma in Agriculture
  1. A mean grade of C- (minus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination or its equivalent OR;
  2. At least a Division II in the Kenya Certificate of Education examination OR;
  3. At least one Principal Pass at the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education examination OR;
  4. Completion of Craft Certificate (Level 5) in Agriculture or related field OR;
  5. A Certificate of experiential learning issued by the Kenya National Qualification Authority (KNQA).
Diploma in Horticultural Production
Diploma in Agricultural Extension

 
Diploma in Agripreneurship
Diploma in Food Science and Technology
Diploma in Business Management     i.        A mean grade of C- (minus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Examination or its equivalent OR;

ii.        At least a Division II in the Kenya Certificate of Education examination OR;

iii.        At least one Principal Pass at the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education examination OR;

iv.        Completion of Certificate (Level 5) in Mechatronic engineering or related field OR;

v.        A Certificate of experiential learning issued by the Kenya National Qualification Authority (KNQA).

Duration: 2 Years

Campus: Main Campus (Nchiru), Meru Town Campus (Hart Towers) and Marimba Learning Centre
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES
PROGRAMME ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Certificate in Animal Health and Production K.C.S.E minimum means grade of C- (minus) with a minimum grade of C- (minus) in Biology/Biological Sciences.

OR;

A minimum of one-year Certificate course with a credit pass in Agriculture/Range Management/Dairy Technology or related courses with at least a mean grade of D+ (plus) in K.C.S.E or equivalent.
Certificate in Agriculture

 

     i.        K.C.S.E mean grade of D (plain) or its equivalent OR;

ii.        At least a Division III in the Kenya Certificate of Education examination OR;

iii.        Completion of Artisan Certificate (Level 4) in a related area OR;

iv.        A Certificate of experiential learning issued by the Kenya National Qualification Authority (KNQA).
