Reporting Supervisor: Security in Charge – Kenrail Towers
Job Purpose: The primary job function of the Security Officer is theft prevention, recording daily events and illegal activity, and protecting the safety of others.
Security Officer may also be required to detain individuals until law enforcement arrives.

Scope of Service

Warehouse

• Counterchecks all incoming and outgoing goods/ deliveries and other items.
• Documentation and verification of invoices.
  • Monitors access into warehouse.
  • Ensures compliance with all security and safety procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance.
  • Security surveillance and searches of staff
  • Relieving of the Kenrail Office night guard on Saturday.
  • Serves as a reliever at Retail Store locations

• Other Duties
  • Support the Security In Charge team in investigations and inspections as need arises
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Measurable Deliverables

1. Timely incidents report to the Security In Charge 1 and Security In Charge 2
2. Write incidence reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate in security or security related studies
• Training in First Aid and Fire Safety

Experience

• At least 3 years work experience in a reputable security firm or attached to a reputable private company as a security officer
• Has performed security related duties in a ware house
• Work experience in the retail industry/ company is preferable
