Descriptions;

The University of Nairobi, a body corporate established under the Universities Act 2012 of the laws of Kenya and the University of Nairobi Charter, is the pioneer institution of University education in Kenya and the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen and enroll eligible participants in the study by ensuring proper administration of consent procedures.
  • Administer screening and enrollment questionnaires to the participants.
  • Maintain a register of all randomized participants.
  • Ensure data is collected accurately and resolve any discrepancies with data team.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the study coordinator.

Job Specifications:

  • An applicant must have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a pass in English.
  • He or she must have a Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
  • He or she must have at least one (1) year of working experience, post qualification, in a busy maternity unit.
  • Applicants with training and experience in research and IT will have an added advantage.
