The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has adopted the marking scheme and grading below.
TSC RECRUITMENT MARKING SCHEME
In the new recruitment guidelines released by TSC, teachers who have masters and those with first-class honors will be preferred to degree and will be awarded 35marks.
Master degree or first class – 35marks
second class upper division – 30marks
second class lower division -25marks
pass – 20marks

Diploma teachers recruitment marking scheme is as follows
Distinction – 30marks
credit – 25marks
pass – 20marks

YEAR OF GRADUATION
2023 – 18 marks
2021 -26marks
2021-34marks
2019 – 42marks
2018- 50marks.
Age will also earn the applicants some marks

Other factors include the ability to communicate, which will earn two points. Special talents and willingness to participate in co-curricular activities, as well as other duties assigned, will applicants three points.
