Responsibilities:
- Legally operate company vehicles
- Checks trucks and trailers as per vehicle checklist, including oil and water levels and records any damages, faults and reports such findings
- Deliver placed order orders as per the planned scheduled delivery route
- Ensure that inventory reconciliations are as per order on departure and as per collection at Point of Contact (POC)
- Ensure a SAFE, Healthy and Risk-Free working environment
- Adherence to DPO Safety Pillar working guidelines
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Performing basic truck maintenance
- Loading and unloading cargo Valid endorsed Heavy Duty vehicle license
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certificate Of Secondary Education
- Driving skills and good eyesight
- Numerous and Literacy skills
- Ability to use electronics/digital equipment
- Supervisory skills
- Driving License
- Communication skills verbal and written with the ability to handle customer queries
