• Procurement Officer

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality

Qualifications;

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Procurement or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a procurement officer or related position.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

• Financial Accountant Officer 

• Manage all financial and accounting management activities for the program including bank account and petty cash reconciliations; accounts payable; sourcing and contracting of suppliers; review and verification of invoices; data entry into accounting systems; fund transfers; and bank, EFT, cheque and cash payments.
• Establish and manage systems for cash and EFT payments to staff including per diems, accommodation/travel allowances, expense claims and petty cash.
• Assist with strategic financial management activities including annual budget development, financial planning and cash flowing, and financial reporting.
• Complies with Tanzanian tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.
• Keep informed about Tanzanian taxation laws and work with senior colleagues to ensure all areas are tax compliant.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the sub-brands team and manage the provision of high-quality and responsive services.
• Provide expert guidance in the costing of personnel, activities, and operations.

Qualifications;

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar qualifications.
• CPA holders will be an added advantage.
• Tertiary qualifications in financial management, accounting, or equivalent discipline related to the roles and functions of the position.
• Two to Five years experience with financial accounting officers of large, complex organizations.

• Embroidery-machine Operator 

• Operates sewing machine to embroider name, initial, or decorative designs on garments, household articles, material, or uniforms and to stitch cording, braid, or emblems on material or garments, following stamped design or working freehand without guide or markings: Reads work order to determine type and location of embroidery.
• Selects size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbin.
• Turns setscrews to regulate machine settings.
• Positions article under the presser foot and presses pedal or knee control to start machine and control speed of sewing.
• Guides fabric under the needle with left hand or turns hand crank under feed bed to guide material, following a stamped pattern or by freehand.
• Observes sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies supervisor of malfunction.
• May draw guide freehand on fabric.
• May pin tissue paper pattern on the fabric to be used as a guide.
• May use embroidery hoops to hold the fabric taut.
• May smooth embroidered area, using hand iron.
• May repair defective embroidery or fill in blanks left by the embroidery machine.
• May operate automatic embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads controlled by perforated pattern tape.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of working experience in a busy production office.
• Completion of a course in design or similar would be advantageous.
• Bi-lingual – English and Swahili language if possible and MUST be a Tanzanian national.
• The ability to read and understand instructional manuals.
