Description:
Responsibilities:
- Managing any power plant/process plant electrical systems planning, resourcing, execution of preventive& breakdown maintenance activities.
- Managing operation &maintenance, testing & functional troubleshooting/ repair to minimize breakdown time on wide range of electrical equipment, machineries like generators, AC & DC Drives, all types of AC & DC Motors, Transformers, CTS,PTS,MOCBS, Isolators, OCBS, ACBS,VCBS,PCCS,MCCS, Relays & its protective systems, battery charger-batteries, UPS etc.
- Knowledge of electrical safety towards electrical equipment machinery while at work and adept with plant work permit systems.
- Implementation of safety measures and compliance of safety guidelines.
- Provides adequate maintenance support to reduce downtime.
- Job planning and execution.
- Managing operation &maintenance, testing & functional troubleshooting/ repair to minimize breakdown time on wide range of electrical equipment, machineries like generators, AC & DC Drives, all types of AC & DC Motors, Transformers, CTS,PTS,MOCBS, Isolators, OCBS, ACBS,VCBS,PCCS,MCCS, Relays & its protective systems, battery charger-batteries, UPS etc.
- Managing any power plant/process plant electrical systems planning, resourcing, execution of preventive& breakdown maintenance activities.
- Material management of the assigned area for smooth power plant operations.
- Maintains the maintenance records of equipment.
- Maintaining the gas consumption records and internal communications.
- Correspondences/assisting GM for Correspondence with TPDC&EWURA
- Any other responsibility assigned by superior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience preferably power plant experience.
- Previously Experience in Cement Plant will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of the use and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commitment to the implemented safety and environmental regulations
- Good data gathering and analysis skills.
- Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
- Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.
