Responsibilities:

  • Managing any power plant/process plant electrical systems planning, resourcing, execution of preventive& breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Managing operation &maintenance, testing & functional troubleshooting/ repair to minimize breakdown time on wide range of electrical equipment, machineries like generators, AC & DC Drives, all types of AC & DC Motors, Transformers, CTS,PTS,MOCBS, Isolators, OCBS, ACBS,VCBS,PCCS,MCCS, Relays & its protective systems, battery charger-batteries, UPS etc.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety towards electrical equipment machinery while at work and adept with plant work permit systems.
  • Implementation of safety measures and compliance of safety guidelines.
  • Provides adequate maintenance support to reduce downtime.
  • Job planning and execution.
  • Managing operation &maintenance, testing & functional troubleshooting/ repair to minimize breakdown time on wide range of electrical equipment, machineries like generators, AC & DC Drives, all types of AC & DC Motors, Transformers, CTS,PTS,MOCBS, Isolators, OCBS, ACBS,VCBS,PCCS,MCCS, Relays & its protective systems, battery charger-batteries, UPS etc.
  • Managing any power plant/process plant electrical systems planning, resourcing, execution of preventive& breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Material management of the assigned area for smooth power plant operations.
  • Maintains the maintenance records of equipment.
  • Maintaining the gas consumption records and internal communications.
  • Correspondences/assisting GM for Correspondence with TPDC&EWURA
  • Any other responsibility assigned by superior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience preferably power plant experience.
  • Previously Experience in Cement Plant will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the use and maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Commitment to the implemented safety and environmental regulations
  • Good data gathering and analysis skills.
  • Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.
