Medical Attendant(s) x4 Job at Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania

• As a volunteer, you will be providing based nursing care and patient support, whereby you ensure that patients and relatives are directed accordingly and patients’ dignity is maintained at all times.
• You assist in the preparations of the patient before the patient sees the doctor or goes to consulting rooms/ theatre, you communicate with doctors and other staff effectively and ensure efficient workflow and you assist in control of the patients’ flow in the clinical area.
• You transport patients, equipment and supplies between units and verify and transport specimens.
• Furthermore, you will participate in a shift system which include nights and weekends.

During this placement, the candidate will be assessed for potential future job openings.

The candidate:

• Form 4 certificate plus one year basic nursing training from a government recognized institution
• A minimum of 3 years of working experience
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili
• Flexibility
• Multitasking
• Team-worker with client focus
• A pro-active attitude and eagerness to work
