Responsibilities:

• Lead our consortia partners in Tanzania by providing high level technical disability and inclusion expertise and guidance through capacity building and technical support.
• Support assuring quality interventions, demonstrating innovative approaches to inclusive education for persons with disability. Representing both TCF and LC at national and regional platforms on inclusive education for persons with disabilities and engaging in strategic education alliances and networks for the same.

Qualifications:

• We are looking for someone bringing extensive experience in providing technical guidance and input on disability inclusion education within consortium and complex programmes.
• As this role is part-time, three days a week, you will be highly organised and have proven experience of working within teams and as a freelancer.
• You will bring local knowledge and hands-on experience in working with local communities, doing field visits, and supporting education programmes.
• You must have prior experience of building relationships with consortium partners, stakeholders and like-minded INGOs and/or national NGOs in Tanzania and the region.
• Experience of working in matrix relationships and remote line management is desirable.
