Responsibilities:
- Assist in project coordination of contractor site works till handover to customer (final site acceptance)
- Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
- Managing the ticketing system – update and closure of tickets
- Supports the PM in planning and overall project schedule along with the use and management of appropriate internal tracking system
- Ability to follow up and drive sub-contractors and suppliers for speedy deliverables
- Ensuring all risks to the project are identified, reported and documented accordingly
- Ability to foster and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular reports to management detailing project performance
- Support the PM in resource management and forward planning with internal parties, contractors and the customer
- Manage the day-to-day roll out requirements and seek immediate solutions to field challenges.
- Periodic team performance evaluation and track improvement plans
- Project stock control and inventory checks in coordination with warehouse team.
- Experience working with ERP systems i.e. Oracle, SAP etc.
- Raise MRFs to various subcontractors or vendors and follow up to ensure timely collection from the warehouse(s)
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed during field work execution.
- Ensure and track compliance to the quality assurance framework
- Communicating changes in an order process to relevant parties.
- Attend meetings with the clients and align project teams to issues discussed with the clients.
- Supporting all functions of the business to work together.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree – Engineering, Business Administration or Finance
- Project Management Certifications will be added advantage
Strong follow up skills - Above average MS Office proficiency
- Meeting management
- Detail oriented with a proven ability to manage a wide scope of work
- Proven ability to manage and foster relationships with contractors and vendors
- Identifies priority activities and assignments
- Allocates appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work
- Monitors and adjusts plans and actions as necessary
- Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals
- Solicits input by genuinely valuing others’ ideas and expertise
- Places team agenda before personal agenda
- Supports and acts in accordance with final group decision, even when such decisions may not entirely reflect own position
- Ability to identify and analyze engineering data of significant depth and complexity.
