University of Auckland International Scholarships Programme 2021-2022 is open for International Students. The scholarship allows Masters, Diploma, Bachelor, Undergraduate level programm(s) in the field of All subjects taught at the University of Auckland.

University of Auckland International Scholarships Programme 2021-2022 is being made available for new international undergraduate and postgraduate students who are applying to study taught PGDip or Masters of 120 points or more, or who are applying to study undergraduate degrees (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications). Studies can be in any subject.

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to attract new international students of high caliber to enroll in an undergraduate or postgraduate taught study of 1 year or more at the University of Auckland.

Up to 50 scholarships will be awarded bi-annually (depending on whether the candidate is commencing studies in Semester 1 or Semester 2), with each scholarship valued at up to $10,000, for postgraduate and undergraduate study. The Scholarship will be paid as a compulsory fees credit towards the first year of study at the University of Auckland.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be new international students who have received an unconditional offer or English Language Academy (ELA) students who have received a conditional offer, of study to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters (taught) of 120 points or more, or an undergraduate degree (applying with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications) at the University of Auckland. Applicants should generally have a grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00.

The basis of selection will be academic merit, the quality of the letter of application, and endorsement by the applicant’s referee. The country of origin of the applicant may also be considered by the selection committee.

Students who have already commenced study at the University of Auckland are ineligible, as are students enrolling in a Research Masters programme. Undergraduate students from University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) and New Zealand secondary-school leavers are ineligible as well.

Application Procedure:

Scholarship applications will usually open around 6 weeks before the closing date. The application deadline for studies commencing February 2021 is 21 November 2020, whilst that for studies commencing July 2021, is 20 April 2021.
