The National Audit Office is an independent Parliamentary body in the United Kingdom which is responsible for auditing central government departments, government agencies and non-departmental public bodies. The NAO also carries out value for money audits into the administration of public policy.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits in the implementation of various Government activities including various development programs and projects
- Assist in identifying areas for inspection as well as maintaining and storing various information on Audits
- Assisting in the preparation of Audit work plans
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary research reports as well as Work Plans that will assist in conducting Audits
- Gathering information and audit documents for conducting audits
- Assisting in processing information and preparing Audit reports
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of the audit findings already conducted
- Assist in the preparation of monitoring audit reports.
Qualifications:
Employed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology (Geophysics or Geochemistry) or other similar qualifications from Government recognized Universities.
