  • All Short Learning Programmes have online applications that are accessible to all applicants.
  • Applicants can apply for at least two programmes, arranged in ascending order of preference (even though you will register for one only in case both of the applications are successful).
  • The University of South Africa CUT will tell you the results of your application by the end of January 2024 for the semester courses and the end of February 2024 for year programmes. In case the application was successful, CUT will show you which of the programme you have been admitted to and will provide you with a vacancy for the time in which you have applied, i.e. either the first 1st semester or the second 2nd semester of 2024
  • Applicants should also accept or reject the CUT offer for the actual time given by the University, which is in a letter form from CUT responding to your application
If you don’t accept CUT’s offer, what happens? The University of South Africa will take away your offer, and they will give your space to another applicant.
  • As soon as you accept CUT’s offer, you have to register for the time at which you have been granted admission (i.e. semester 1 or semester 2).
