An internship is a period of work experience offered by an organization for a limited period of time. It is typically undertaken by students and graduates looking to gain relevant skills and experience in a particular field. Employers benefit from these placements because they often recruit employees from their best interns, who have known capabilities, thus saving time and money in the long run.

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) invites South Africa unemployed graduates to apply for Telecommunications Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

The CSIR has an Internship opportunity for an Intern in the Networked Systems and Applications impact area, within the Next Generation Enterprises and Institutions Cluster. The purpose of the Internship is to provide graduates with an opportunity to gain practical work experience through providing technical support to the research and development team in the wireless telecommunications systems and networks within the Spectrum Access and Management Innovation (SAMI) research group. This position is based in Pretoria.
