For admission into Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma, and Masters programs at the Gideon Robert University for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for successful admission.

Gideon Robert University Admission Requirements 2023/2024
Entry requirements for all degree programmes:
- Passes at credit level in at least five (05) subjects (including English) in the Zambian School Certificate or Cambridge Overseas School Certificate; or Passes at credit level in at least five subjects (including English) in the General Certificate of Education
Ordinary Level Examinations; or Relevant Diploma obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning. - For Diploma Programmes, applicants should hold Four (4) credits or better which must include English language
- For Certificate Programmes, applicants should hold Three (3) credits or better which must include English language.

Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
- A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Entry requirements for a Masters Degree Programme
- For admission to the Master’s Degree of a candidate shall either hold an honours degree of the or a qualification from an approved institution of higher learning, deemed to be equivalent to an honours degree of the GRU University.
- Candidates who hold unclassified degrees should have a credit or, a distinction in the subject of the intended Master’s Degree.
