The Africa Renewal University AFRU admission requirement is the first step in your application process. Like other institutions of learning, admission into the Africa Renewal University AFRU is subject to meeting the admission requirement for your choice of course.

Admission Requirements for Certificate & Diploma Programmes Africa Renewal University AFRU

Certificate

Passes in all four Core subjects and any two Electives relevant to the course.

Diploma

Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations
Passes in all the core subjects i.e. Core English, Core Mathematics

Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes at Africa Renewal University AFRU

Entry Requirements to a Degree Programme: The minimum entry requirements for admission to a Degree Programme are:

Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) with a minimum of 5 passes and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A’ Level) with a minimum of two principal passes obtained
at the same sitting; or
A relevant Diploma from an institution of higher learning recognised by the National Council for Higher Education, or
A pass in mature age entry examinations with at least 50% and must be 25 years and above

Entry Requirements to a Diploma Programme: The minimum entry requirements for admission to a diploma programme are:

Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) with a minimum of 5 passes; and
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A’ Level) with a minimum of 1 principal pass and 2 subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting; or
A Certificate from an institution of higher learning recognised by the National Council of Higher Education.

Entry Requirements to a Certificate Programme: The minimum entry requirements for admission to a Certificate Programme are:

Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) with a minimum of 3 credits obtained at the same sitting

Entry Requirements for International Applicants

International applicants must first have their qualifications translated and then equated by Uganda National Examinations Board. Admission will then be given when they are found to meet the requirements for each programme as described above.

NOTE: ONLY applicants who have met the admission requirements shall be considered for admission.

Human Resource Management	2 years
Organizational Leadership and Management	2 years
Marketing	2 Year
Master of Arts in Theological Studies in	Duration
Theology	2 years
Church Planting and Community Development	2 years
Christian Leadership	2 Years
Post Graduate Diploma in Education	2 Years
Post Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education	2 Years

NOTE: ONLY applicants who have met the admission requirements shall be considered for admission.

Follow the steps below to complete the application process:

Step 1: Obtain the Application Form.

Step 2: Obtain the Brochure, and go through it before completing the application form.

Step 3: Once you are done with STEP 2, fill out the application form and attach relevant documents(s)

Step 4: In this step, you are either to forward the application form back to the institution or if you were on the online application portal, you click on ‘submit application’
