Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Programmes at Ankole Western University AWU
A candidate is deemed eligible for being considered for admission to Bachelors Degree program if he/she has obtained:-
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent qualification.
- At least two principle passes in relevant and approved subjects at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or an equivalent qualification.
DIPLOMA HOLDERS ENTRY SCHEME
A candidate must be a Diploma holder relevant to the desired field of study from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
MATURE AGE / SPECIAL ENTRY SCHEME
Candidates for the Mature Age/Special Entry Scheme must be Ugandan nationals of at least 25 years and have had formal education. Those who are successful, in both the written and the oral examination are then considered for admission.

Follow the steps below to complete the application process:
Step 1:Â Obtain the Application Form.
Step 2:Â Obtain the Brochure, and go through it before completing the application form.
Step 3: Once you are done with STEP 2, fill out the application form and attach relevant documents(s)
Step 4: In this step, you are either to forward the application form back to the institution or if you were on the online application portal, you click on ‘submit application’
