Required Criteria for a Complete Application

  • Online application
  • $65 Non-refundable Application Fee – paid via credit card with the online application
  • GRE/MAT (if required)
  • Essay/Supplemental Questions (if required)
  • Letters of Recommendation (if required)
  • Resume/CV (if required)
  • Transcript(s) from each Postsecondary Institution Attended – If you have access to a current version of your unofficial transcript(s) from your prior institution(s), you may upload them to your application and they may be used to review your application. All applicants that accept an offer of admission are required to submit final, official transcripts prior to beginning coursework.

All documents are uploaded through the online application process – except final, official transcripts.

Transcripts

All applicants that accept an offer of admission are required to submit final, official transcripts prior to beginning coursework. Applicants must provide transcripts from all institutions from which a degree was earned. Official transcripts are those in a sealed envelope with a degree conferred date and sent directly from the issuing institution to: College of Education, 111 Research Drive, Iacocca B306, Bethlehem, PA 18015 or via e-transcript services to: [email protected].

Test Scores

All scores should be submitted to the College of Education using LU Institutional Code 2365 (GRE) and 1635 (MAT). GRE and MAT scores are valid for a five year period. The TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years. Please refer to the International Applicants page for additional information.

TOEFL  Graduate students who are not US Citizens and/or non-native speakers of English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test. The TOEFL and IELTS test dates must be within the last 2 years. These tests may be waived if the applicant has graduated from a US institution within the last 2 years. Please contact [email protected] if you believe you may be eligible for a language test score waiver.
