4. HOW TO CHECK MATRIC RESULTS VIA SMS
With this service, you can get to check your matric results using your mobile phone. Follow the guide below to check matric result with your phone.
- Register via SMS
- Send your ID number and exam number to 45856
- You’ll get a confirmation SMS once you’ve successfully registered.
- SMSs are charged at R1,50 and R1,50 per minute on USSD.
- Get your matric results immediately when they are released

Matric results can also be checked on national newspapers after the release of the exams. Though these particular method won’t give a comprehensive view of your performance on all the subjects; it gives only the grade level your results falls.
