Midlands State University International Student Application 2024/2025

Applicants can download application forms on our website admissions section.

1. Pay the us$50-00 non-refundable application fee straight to the university or deposit the application fee through a telegraphic transfer into the institution’s account (available here) and forward confirmation of transfer to Midlands State University.
2. Attach clear certified copies of high school certificates and any other professional qualification to support the application. In addition, where the original documents are not issued in English, also provide an official English translation of each document by a certified translator.
3. Please do not send letters of recommendation, photographs, portfolios, or additional personal essays unless requested by the Office of Admissions.
4. Those with no English background are obliged to go through a bridging English semester before they can enroll into the degree programmes.

PASSPORTS AND STUDY PERMITS

All international students must have passports from their respective governments and study permits from Zimbabwe before they can enter the country. In the event that one does not have a visa, he/she should produce USD$200 as proof and other study permit requirements to the University International Students Office on arrival.

Please be advised that no international students will be registered at the University unless one possesses a valid study permit.

2. Acceptance letter x2
3. Passport pages showing applicant’s details x3
4. Proof of registration x3
5. Proof of accommodation x3
6. Previous semester’s results x3
7. Current Chest x-ray certificate x3 not less than 2months
8. Passport size photographs x3
9. Proof of payment of fees x3
10.  Police clearance

WHAT YOU RECEIVE AT THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE

1. A temporary PRN if it is the first time to apply.
2. Blue/Yellow receipt which should be kept safe at all times

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: 

1. A student should always check on the date of expiry of his / her     PRN.
2.  A student is also required to renew his / her permit every year and failure to do so a statutory fine of US$100 will be charged.
