The New England College Undergraduate Admission requirements for the academic year have been released. The list contains the names of applicants that have been accepted into the school.

New England College Undergraduate Admission & Requirements
- Completed Application for Admission including self-reported GPA
- Final official high school transcript (required before enrollment, not with your application)
- Optional: SAT/ACT scores (These scores are not required at NEC.)
- BFA Programs Only: Portfolio of 15–20 images of your work via Slideroom.com or your Instagram handle (required before enrollment, not with your application)
- If you take any college courses during high school, be sure to ask your high school to send your official transcript to NEC before enrollment so that the courses can be counted toward your degree.
Pre-Licensure Residential BS in Nursing Application Requirements
In addition to NEC’s general application requirements, applicants to the pre-licensure nursing program must meet the following admission standards or may be admitted by permission of the Associate Dean:
- Minimum high school or transfer GPA of 3.0
- SAT/Standardized test requirements are optional
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) for international students
- College prep English, algebra, and biology or chemistry with a C+ or better
- Personal essay
- Professional recommendation (for transfer students)
- Guidance Counselor Letter of Recommendation
- Teacher recommendation, preferably from a science or math teacher (for recent high school graduates only)
- Eligibility for employment as an LNA at a partner institution
- Criminal background check and initial/routine drug screening
