These guidelines will help you determine what additional information you may need to provide for enrollment.

Application Materials

Though most programs at NHTI are open enrollment, some have high school-level prerequisites, are competitive, or have other specific admissions requirements. For these, you’ll need official transcripts forwarded to NHTI by any secondary and post-secondary institutions you’ve attended. Refer to the program’s page to determine these requirements.

Application materials should be sent to:

NHTI – Concord’s Community College
ATTN: Admissions Office
31 College Drive
Concord, NH 03301-7412

You can also request that your school email your official transcripts to [email protected].

As part of your application, you’ll self-certify that you have completed (or will complete) high school or the equivalent by the start of the semester for which you’ve applied. Even if not required for admission to your program, we highly recommend having your official high school transcript, diploma, or equivalent (GED or HiSET) documentation submitted; they may be used for advising or placement.

Documentation of your completion of high school (or an equivalent) may be required for federal financial aid; students may be required to complete the High School Self-Certification form.

Application Deadlines

While we offer rolling admissions for most programs, our competitive Allied Health programs have specific application deadlines:

  • Radiologic Technology: Jan. 13, 2023
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Jan. 13, 2023
  • Dental Hygiene: Jan. 27, 2023
  • Dental Assisting: March 3, 2023
  • Nursing RN: Jan. 27, 2023: Early Action: Nov. 30, 2022
  • LPN-RN Completion: March 3, 2023
  • Radiation Therapy: March 3, 2023
  • Orthopaedic Technology: March 3, 2023

The Radiologic Technology and LPN-RN Completion programs begin in the Summer term; the others begin in the Fall term only.

Specific Admission Requirements

Many associate degree and certificate programs have additional requirements. You’re responsible for knowing the requirements, deadlines, and necessary documentation for admissions.

If you do not meet the requirements for your program, you may still be offered admission to either the Liberal Arts Associate in Arts program or the General Studies Associate in Science program. Starting in these programs allows you to enroll at NHTI and work with an academic advisor to complete the prerequisite and college courses needed to pursue your goal.

Additional Requirements and Recommendations

SAT/ACT Testing

Academic Advisors will use multiple measures to determine appropriate placement in first semester college coursework. You may be required to complete a placement test before registering for classes. All SAT scores should be submitted to Admissions prior to or at the point of acceptance to best facilitate registering for first semester courses.

Mathematics Requirement

All of our degree programs require the successful completion of at least one semester of college-level mathematics. We recommend that you successfully complete high school Algebra I with a grade of C or better prior to NHTI admission. Many STEM programs require additional math as an admission requirement.
