NOTICE TO: CUT Final-Year Students on Supplementary Exams – August 2020
The management of Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) wishes to inform all final year students who wrote examinations from 29th of June to the 3rd of July 2020 that Supplementary Examinations shall be from 3-4 September 2020. All final year students writing Supplementary Examinations shall be expected to arrive on campus on the 2nd of September 2020 for examinations which start on the 3rd of September 2020 at 0900 hours. Free accommodation shall be offered on campus (one student in each room) in order to observe social distancing. Students shall be subjected to temperature checks which shall be compulsory at every entry point on campus. Students shall also be required to continuously wear face masks. Students are being encouraged to use public transport (ZUPCO) to Chinhoyi for safety.
Students must check for the Supplementary Examinations Timetable on CUT website and also in student portals. In the meantime, the University is still encouraging students to continue preparing for the Supplementary Examinations.
The University urges students and their families to continue taking preventive measures that include wearing of masks, washing hands, use of sanitizers and social distancing to prevent infection from the Coronavirus. Students are also encouraged to exercise due care and avoid unnecessary travel and mingling that may endanger their lives and those of immediate family members.
