PAC (Pan Africa Christian) University, a Chartered Private University, is seeking to fill the positions outlined below from suitable candidates. Applicants must be born again Christians and active members of a local Church.


1. Administrative Assistant – Marketing and Recruitment

The incumbent will be responsible for making successful conversions of prospective students in to registered students. He/she will support effective leadership at the Call Center to ensure that this is done.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong closing skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined

Key Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant – Marketing and Recruitment

  • Convert prospective students in to registered students
  • Supervise the day to day running of the Call Center
  • Keep records of engagements with prospective students
  • Receive and assist visitors who walk in to inquire about the University’s academic programs
  • Prepare and submit reports such as admission numbers and engagement status with prospective students
  • Achieve the targets agreed upon within the schedule period.

2. Marketing Officer

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Commerce with a marketing option from a recognized university
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Marketing preferably sales and marketing of University Academic Programs.
  • Must be a mature person above the age of 35 years.
  • Registered by the relevant professional body such as Marketing Society of Kenya
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills;

Key Responsibilities for the Marketing Officer

  • Plan, prepare, manage and take part in all marketing activities.
  • Devise marketing campaigns and organize a calendar of marketing events;
  • Represent the University at events;
  • Conduct market research and establish the best way to reach potential students;
  • In liaison with the PR Manager prepare marketing material for use in different channels;
  • Coordinate with outside agencies, to produce marketing and promotional materials for brand positioning.
  • Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns, evaluate their success using various metrics and prepare measurement reports;
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote and enhance the Universities presence in relevant market sectors;
  • See all ventures through to completion.

3. Call Centre Agent

The incumbent shall be responsible for conversion of prospective students who have expressed interest to join the University. This shall be done through making telephone calls and also assisting prospects who walk in to the University to make inquiries.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least one year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined

Key Responsibilities for the Call Centre Agent

  • Reach out to student leads through calling
  • Keep records of communication with prospective students
  • Receive and assist visitors who walk in to inquire about our academic programs
  • Prepare and submit admission reports
  • Achieve the targets agreed upon within schedule
  • Participate in the marketing activities of the University.

4. Editorial Assistant

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar role

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined

5. Field Sales & Marketing Representative – Evangel Publishing House

Minimum Requirements

  • An applicant must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • At least three years’ experience in marketing and selling books
  • Must be aged between 29 -35 years.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined

Key Responsibilities – Field Sales & Marketing Representative – Evangel Publishing House 

  • Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures;
  • Analyze budget variances on a monthly basis and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop sales strategies and approaches for various products and services
  • Answer questions from clients about product and service benefits
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Track sales data to meet budgetary goals
  • Analyse trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Create and present regular performance reports for management use in decision making
  • Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Attend trade shows and travel to meet clients as needed
  • Contribute information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing and product development strategies
  • Help to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered
  • Set marketing schedules and coordinate with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels and media
  • Develop, coordinate and update all online and offline marketing products including social media campaigns and social media networking.

6. Senior Administrative Assistant (Administration & HR)

The Senior Administrative Assistant shall support the non-curricular administrative functions of the University’s Administration division (HR & Administration)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences in any of these fields: Administration, Human Resource Management,  Communication,  Psychology , social studies, or any other related field;
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Administration and HR preferably at the University level or in a large organization.
  • Must be a mature person above the age of 32 years.
  • Must be registered by the Institute of Human Resource Management and any other relevant professional body.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills;

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Administrative Assistant – Administration & HR

  • Support in the proper implementation of the HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Updating employee records on the HRIS and filing all HR and Administration related documents.
  • Ensuring the completeness of staff documentation during onboarding of new employees includes statutory documents, filling of bio-data forms, medical forms and pension forms.
  • Preparation of contracts for all Part –time and Adjunct Faculty and ensuring that their database information is up to date.
  • Prepare for interviews, organizing documentation and reports for interviews.
  • Organizing and coordination of staff welfare activities such as staff meetings, trainings, staff parties among others as directed.
  • Ensuring HR related statutory returns are paid and processed on time such as NITA, Registration of Workplace amongst others and ensure proper and up to date documentation of the same.
  • Developing monthly, quarterly and yearly HR returns reports and other administrative reports.
  • In liaison with the Registrar Administration support in the management of other outsourced services outsourced labour such as Security, Contractors etc.
  • In liaison with the Supervisors of the Outsourced cleaning and grounds maintenance teams, ensure that the grass, grounds and flower beds are well trimmed and off litter, offices, classrooms and hostels are clean and tidy, toilets are clean and have enough supplies.

7. Senior Administrative Assistant (Student Affairs)

The Senior Administrative Assistant shall support the non-curricular administrative functions of the University’s Academic Affairs division (Student Affairs).

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences in any of these fields: Administration, Human Resource Management,  Communication,  Psychology , social studies, or any other related field;
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience: in student affairs management at the University level;
  • Must be a mature person above the age of 32 years.
  • Must have experience in dealing with processing of International Students Kenya Pupil Pass.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills;

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Administrative Assistant – (Student Affairs)

  • Perform a variety of administrative duties to assist the DOS in managing the students and the Chaplaincy office in managing Chaplaincy services.
  • Guide and assist all the incoming students with various queries regarding student’s affairs Campus life.
  • Managing Student Counseling requests in liaison with the DOS and the Student Counselor.
  • In liaison with the Finance and Academic Registrars’ offices ensure that all student medical and personal accident insurance covers are up to date including registration to the medical scheme and card issuance for those on Universal Student medical cover.
  • Liaison to extracurricular activities e.g. culture week. Help the student in identifying different service providers and schedule of events for the culture week.
  • Follow up with the international students on the documents required by the department of immigration services for their KPP registration.
  • Booking in and follow up of all students transport requisitions.
  • In liaison with the DOS, Supervises all other non-curricular activities by students on Campus ensuring that discipline is maintained by all students in the furtherance of student activities.
