Penn Commercial Business and Technical School Undergraduate Admission & Requirements
Admission to any of Penn Commercial’s programs requires a high school diploma or GED certificate, and you’ll be asked to sign a release form to obtain your official transcripts so we can confirm that this has been achieved. Several of our programs also have certain physical requirements, which can be found by visiting the web page for your program of interest.

Application Process
We know applying to college can be intimidating. But we offer a simple, clear process for submitting your application for admission, and we’ll personally guide you—from getting your necessary documentation submitted, to applying for financial aid, to planning your admission interview. Our experienced team has been helping students like you for over 90 years!
To qualify for admission, you need a high school diploma or a GED certificate. From there, follow these steps to complete the application process:
1. Complete your application for admission, which can be done online!
2. Obtain your official transcripts to verify your high school diploma or GED, and have them submitted to Penn Commercial.
3. Complete your admissions interview with our team to determine your goals and readiness for our programs.
4. Take your entrance examination, which is required for admission into each program.
5. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid and meet with a financial aid advisor.
If you’re applying to the Medical Assistant or Nursing program, you’ll also be required to complete the following additional step:
6. Pass a complete physical examination, which can be administered by a physician of your choice.
When you apply, you’ll need to submit a nonrefundable $25 application fee, which, if you’re accepted, will be applied to your $100 registration fee.
If you’re still in high school, you can apply for admission and may be accepted on a conditional basis, pending our receipt of your official transcript after you graduate.
