The management of Saint Joseph’s University Admission has released the list of Graduate requirements for admission into the institution.

Saint Joseph’s University Graduate Admission & Requirements

Graduate students must have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university to apply for graduate admission at Saint Joseph’s University. A completed application packet is required, as well.

The application process and requirements for our graduate programs varies, particularly for our professional health programs and science master’s and PhD degrees. Please ensure that you have reviewed the application process and all materials prior to submitting your application. We will review your application to best determine your ability to contribute to not only the program of your choice but the greater Saint Joseph’s community.

    • Completed online application
    • Official transcripts for all credits earned, undergraduate and graduate
    • Two letters of recommendation*
    • Professional resume
    • Personal statement
      • A well-organized essay answering the prompt: What are your career and educational goals?
    • Application fee of $35 for masters, certificate and doctoral level programs
    • Official GMAT or GRE score *for some programs (must be taken within last seven years, see below)

    **Please note that Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology/Toxicology programs require three letters of recommendations.

    Certificate Programs

  • Graduate Business Program requirements and information: 

    • Official GRE or GMAT score
    • Must be taken within the last seven years
    • In lieu of GMAT/GRE scores, students may be waived based on
      • professional work experience
      • academic excellence
      • licensed in the United States as a CPA, CFP, CFA, PMP
      • earned a terminal degree (Ph.D., M.D., D.O., J.D., DBA, etc.)
      • earned a master’s degree (M.S., M.A., etc.) from an accredited, not-for-profit institution.
