About Seventh Day Adventist College of Education SEDACOE
The Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) College of Education at Asokore, near Koforidua in Eastern Region of Ghana, was established on the 26th October, 1962 by the SDA Church. The College is about 84 kilometres fro Accra, the national capital. It cover an area of 135.9 hectors, about (887.5m square).
The College began with one hundred and twenty (120). Since its establishment, it has run reveral programmes.The College began as a post Middle Four- Year Certificate ‘A’ Teacher Training Institution. The year 1974 saw the short-lived Two- Year Art Specialist Programme for trained teachers.
