The management of Temple University Admission has released the list of Graduate requirements for admission into the institution.

Temple University Graduate Admission & Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited or equivalent institution. Students with an undergraduate degree in a non-engineering field will be considered for admission, though pre-requisite coursework may need to be completed prior to enrolling. Applicants with a non-engineering degree should contact the Admissions office prior to applying at [email protected].
  • An undergraduate GPA minimum of a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • In the Ph.D. program a master’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • GRE is not required for Masters students, but still required for PHD candidates.
  • Minimum quantitative GRE scores of at least the 50th percentile for PHD candidates
  • Applicants whose native language is not English must submit official results from the TOEFL / IELTS / or Duolingo exam. The minimum scores required are 79 on the TOEFL / 6.5 on the IELTS / or 110 on Duolingo.
  • For international applicants: In order to grant admissions decisions, we require official documents: all official transcripts or official NACES accredited evaluations (these must be sent directly from the institutions or NACES accredited evaluation agencies).
