The total number of credits for graduation is 120 (126 for Management/Accounting majors). All students should consult the latest Pitt-Greensburg Catalog for information regarding requirements for their major and course descriptions.

Competencies

  • ENGCMP 0010* College Composition 1
  • ENGCMP 0020* College Composition 2
  • ENGCMP 0030 or equivalent as designated by major*
  • COMMRC 0520 Public Speaking
  • MATH 0080* Fundamentals of Modern Math  or MATH 0031* Algebra–depending on major

After the completion of ENGCMP 0020, all students must complete an additional three (3) credits of English composition*. Please see your advisor for details.

*All English composition and mathematics courses used to satisfy the competency requirements must be completed with a grade of C- or better.

Additional Requirements

In addition to the requirements listed above, all students must complete the following:

  • One additional course from among those designated, SS, SS1, SS2, or SS3 located in the Schedule of Classes;
  • One course from among those designated HM, LT, AT, or PT.
  • Two courses designated as NS1 or NS2 in the Schedule of Classes.

Capstone Requirements

Each senior must complete a senior project, seminar, thesis, or capstone course in their major.
