About the University of Eldoret
The university has implemented blended teaching and learning for all the courses being offered in different schools. This move was taken in order to ensure teaching and learning continues seamlessly. Some thesis and research proposal defences are also conducted online. The eLearning programmes are coordinated by the Directorate of Open, Distance and eLearning (ODeL). In order to ensure smooth teaching and learning, the University has appointed School ODeL coordinators who are supported by Departmental ODeL coordinators to offer the required services about online teaching and learning, as it continuously monitors the programmes for compliance with all the requirements.
