The company’s flagship Modder East gold mine was advanced from a greenfield exploration project through to production and is the only new mine to be built in South Africa’s historically rich East Rand Goldfield in 30 years. The mine, situated 30 kilometres east of Johannesburg, currently has a 10 year life of mine and comprises a shallow gold mine where the primary targets are Black Reef and UK9A Kimberley Reef, which are situated between 300 and 500 metres below surface.The Gold One Group is owned by the consortium BCX Gold Investment Holdings, which comprises Baiyin Non-Ferrous Group, the China-Africa Development Fund, and Long March Capital.The above-mentioned vacancy exist at Gold One Group.
Job Requirements
- Matric and Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines.)Analytical skills, quick learnerInterpersonal communication skills are required and essential. Flexibility is required and essential (able to work rotation shifts) Ability to work well as part of a team. Must be able to work underground. Familiarity with MS Office
- Profound Engineering background Proof of residence is required. South African Citizenship Valid Driver’s License Clear Criminal Record All candidates must be medically fit. Must be 18 years and or above.
