The Gulu University admission requirement is the first step in your application process. Like other institutions of learning, admission into the Gulu University is subject to meeting the admission requirement for your choice of course.
Admission Requirements for Certificate & Diploma Programmes Gulu University
Certificate
Passes in all four Core subjects and any two Electives relevant to the course.
Diploma
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations
Passes in all the core subjects i.e. Core English, Core Mathematics
Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes at Gulu University
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for. A Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate diploma from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
NOTE: ONLY applicants who have met the admission requirements shall be considered for admission.
Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Programmes at Gulu University
Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Duration of Programme: 1 Academic Year
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
A Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate diploma from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Duration of Programme: 2 Academic Years
Entry requirements for a DBA or PhD degree programme
Applicants must be holders of Master’s degree or any other related programs from a recognized University. Practitioner Experience: Applicants must have management experience of at least three years pre – or – post Masters.

Gulu University Application Steps
Follow the steps below to complete the application process:
Step 1: Obtain the Application Form.
Step 2: Obtain the Brochure, and go through it before completing the application form.
Step 3: Once you are done with STEP 2, fill out the application form and attach relevant documents(s)
Step 4: In this step, you are either to forward the application form back to the institution or if you were on the online application portal, you click on ‘submit application’
Once you have done with the application process, the next step is to wait for the names of selected applicants.
