The Worcester State University Graduate Admission requirements for the academic year have been released. The list contains the names of applicants that have been accepted into the school.

Worcester State University Graduate Admission & Requirements
Documents Needed for Admission
Please submit the following documents with your online application to the Graduate Admissions Office:
- $50 application fee
- Official transcripts with a calculated GPA for the institution that awarded your baccalaureate degree
- Official transcripts of each graduate institution awarding degree(s) or course credit beyond a baccalaureate degree (if applicable)
- Two current letters of recommendation; three for the M.S. in Management and M.Ed. in Leadership and Administration programs
- Evidence of completion of additional department admissions requirements (visit Worcester State’s online graduate catalog or download a PDF version for details)
- A completed Tuition Residency Statement (occupational therapy applicants only)
- Test results of either your Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Millers Analogies Test (MAT), or General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) (depending on the graduate program to which you plan to apply)
- The Master of Science in Nursing program does not require test score submissions
- The Master of Education program (except the M.Ed. program with no concentration) does not require score submissions if evidence of passing appropriate MTELs is provided
- Standardized test scores (GRE, GMAT or MAT) are not required for the Master of Science in Non-Profit Management, the Master of Public Administration & Policy and the Master of Public Management programs
- If you have an advanced degree, you are exempt from the required test scores with proper documentation
Transferring Courses
Twelve credits (4 courses at Worcester State) will transfer into a master’s degree if applicable to the program to which you are applying. These 12 credits include courses taken before admittance at Worcester State as well as credit from another institution. Courses transferred into your program will be approved by your program’s coordinator after you have been accepted.

Letters of Recommendation
Your letters of recommendation should be originals and be related specifically to your ability to undertake advanced study, to express ideas, and to work effectively in your chosen field of employment. Letters should be no more than 6 months old.

Taking the Tests
The GRE (Graduate Record Exam), MAT (Miller Analogies Test), and GMAT (General Management Aptitude Test) are all administered through private testing agencies or other universities. Information concerning test sites and dates may be obtained online. Scores should be sent to the Graduate School.
Speech-Language Pathology Applicants
If you are applying to the M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology program, you will need to submit a Speech-Language Pathology Application Coversheet along with your application.
