I am a resident of Budiriro 5 OK area. We have been experiencing intense power cuts for instance after every 2 weeks we go for 4 to 5 days complete blackout without ZESA completely. Yet normal dairly power cuts are experienced. Currently since the 27th of December to date we have been in darkness. I appreciate there are power cuts but for the past 6 months the power cuts in Budiriro 5 area has been beyond normal power cuts. May you please assist in resolving the issue.
lam one of your disgrantled clients, in Waterfalls Picnic Park near the industrial sites. We are spending 4 to 5 days without power and when power is there it doesnt last more than a day.We have since resorted to OFF-Grid which is expensive since we are not getting any joy and assistance from our local deport. Also to note is we provided our own infrastracture including the transformer as residents but we still have power challenges. We are asking if the deport can minimize backfeeds as this is really disadvantaging us.Every peak hour everyday we are guaranteed that they will be no power. Can you please look into his issue.

I need to be educated on an issue that is giving me sleepless nights. My house is located in a new location called Mountainrise in Mutare. The location was divided into three sections as confirmed by the ZESA progress in the area. Residents in each section mobilized resources to put up ZESA lines in all the three sections. In one section, a transformer was installed, and residents are already connected. In the other section progress is rather slow because they have only managed to put up the poles and wires are not yet in place. In our section, wires were erected early last year and at one time we were even told that ZESA Mutare had inspected the lines to their satisfaction. My problem is that our contractor had promised us that by June last year we were supposed to have been connected but alas, up to now nothing has happened. Almost two months ago ZESA personnel brought two poles which we were informed that they would carry our transformer. As usual they have gone mute again. My question is, after residents have gone an extra mile digging into their obviously empty pockets to attract the presence of ZESA in their homes, why is the utility not complementing this effort? Should residents continue to carryout deforestation activities in the nearby mountains knowing very well that it is not favorable to the ecosystem? Could it be that ZESA Mutare is overwhelmed, or they do not have transformers, or the area does not house any influential or deserving individuals?
I can say a lot about this issue, but I will be glad if a befitting response is proffered by Authorities in this utility.
