The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK), formerly Co-operative College of Kenya was established through The Co-operative University of Kenya Order, Legal Notice NO. 161 of 4th November 2011 as a Constituent College of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Must possess an earned PhD, Masters and Bachelors Degree in Law;
- Must possess a Diploma from the Kenya School of Law (KSL);
- Must be an advocate of the High Court;
- Possession of the following requirements will be an added advantage;
- Experience in developing and reviewing curriculum;
- Evidence of publications and attracting research funds will be an added advantage; and
- Membership in a relevant professional body.
OR
- Must possess an earned Masters and Bachelors Degree in Law from accredited and recognized university;
- Must be registrable for a PhD;
- Must possess a Diploma from the Kenya School of Law (KSL);
- Must be an advocate of the High Court.
- Must possess at least five (5) years teaching experience in a University with a proven track record of exemplary performance;
- Must possess at least three (3) papers in peer-refereed journals or one (1) scholarly book since the last promotion/appointment;
- Possession of the following requirements will be an added advantage;
- Experience in developing and reviewing curriculum;
- Evidence of publications and attracting research funds will be an added advantage; and
- Membership in a relevant professional body.
