Lifeway House is an addiction treatment and wellness center focused on providing our patients and clients with the foundation for lasting recovery, therefore enabling them to live higher-quality lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessment during a patient’s admission process.
- Manage patients as they go through detoxification.
- Evaluating and documenting the patient treatment plan and maintaining records on patients’ health conditions.
- Ensuring coordinated and constant communication with physicians on patients’ progress.
- Providing appropriate healthcare services including health education to patients throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Actively interacting with patients to encourage continued engagement in treatment after completion of detoxification.
- Completing other tasks within the scope of registered nurses and program services and procedures.
Qualifications:
- One year of working experience in a facility specializing in mental health or addictions treatment.
- Qualification in Mental Health/Psychiatry Nursing will be an advantage.
- Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid and current Nu.rsing Practice License from Nursing Council of Kenya.
