Descriptions;

Workpay is building an HR and payroll solution for growing teams in Africa. We are providing these businesses with tools for performance management, Payroll, compliance, benefits, and salary disbursement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual test cases and document test results.
  • Perform automated testing.
  • Discover bugs within software. Identify, isolate and track bugs throughout testing of current software and new features.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
  • Suggest solutions to identified product problems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • BSC degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject. Added advantage, ISTQB certification.
  • Proven work experience in software development, especially in the quality assurance field.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Added advantage in automated testing tools e.g. Jest, Playwright.
