Nakangea Construction Limited is a civil works company that is wholly Zambian owned. The company is registered with NCC in Categories R grade 1, B grade 3 and C grade 4. The company is looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies:

  1. FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

The incumbent will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to management. He/She will be responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of the organisation’s operational systems,as well as ensure that overall organisational processes are efficient and effective.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a Degree in Accounting, ACCA or similar. A Master’s degree in Business administration will be an added advantage;
  • At least 8 years practical experience in a similar position;
  • Must have considerable knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounting functions;
  • Excellent knowledge of statutory requirements;
  • Must be proficient in at least 2 or more accounting packages, excel and word packages;
  • Must be flexible and able to work well in a fast paced environment;
  • Ability to motivate, coach and mentor team members.
  1. SITE ADMINISTRATOR

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, budgeting and coordination of a construction project. ensuring that administration processes on site on efficient and effective.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a Degree in Business Administration or any related field;
  • At least 5 years experience at middle management level in a similar position;
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Must be a team player;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation.
  1. OPERATIONS OFFICER (Lusaka Office)
    The incumbent will assist the Operations Manager with the coordination of operations activities between the head office and site office. He/She will be responsible for duties such as the procurement of office and site requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least a diploma in Business Administration, purchasing and supply or related field. A degree will be an added advantage;
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role preferably in the construction industry;
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Must be a team player and be an effective and efficient communicator.
