Technical Sales Representative at Bamburi Cement Limited

• Ensure adherence of self and others to the company’s Health and Safety policies and actively participate in the Company’s Health and Safety programs
• Look for new business by visiting construction sites, consultants, engineer, developers and property owners to try to influence their decision to buy company products.
• Respond to enquiries from walk in customers, site contacts and from the quotations given and answer or clarify any issues the customers may have.
• Maintain a portfolio of existing and potential customers with the aim of reaching them easily for business
• Plan delivery schedule in liaison with other sales representatives, Customer Service Officer and Logistics department in order to meet customer requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Participate in trade fairs to popularize company products and seek new markets.
• In line with company credit policy, follow up customers to ensure payment of all monies owed to the company after the sale.

This job may be for you if you have:

• A degree in Civil engineering.
• A diploma marketing will be an added advantage
• At least 2 years work experience in sales
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Team player
• Persuasive with good oral communication skills
• Ability to negotiate and sell
